| As President of The Oasis Experience,
Inc®, Linda Lucatorto serves as a leader, facilitator, coach,
event coordinator and spokesperson, speaking to a variety of community groups
throughout the Chicagoland area. Linda has been quoted extensively in the media
and is frequently sought after as a resource on the topic of divorce recovery.
Linda has a B.A. in education and holds two teaching certificates. She also has
an M.Ed in Human Services and Counseling.
Prior to The Oasis Experience Inc.®, Linda was Director of
Family Life Education at The Care and Counseling Center in Downers Grove, IL.
In that position, she developed programs for the prevention of teen pregnancy,
working with adolescents and parents through the schools.
She created the ECHO (Educational Community Health Outreach) program, for which
she was awarded the Connie Kingsbury Award by the Care and Counseling Center.
Linda also developed the AWARE (Adolescents With Awareness, Resources and
Education) program, collaborating with DuPage County Health Department, Greater
DuPage MYM and the YWCA to offer the program to 8th graders throughout the
county.
During her thirteen years as Director of Education, Linda spoke to over 50,000
students, parents and faculty. After resigning from this position, she served
on the Care and Counseling Center Board of Directors for a two-year period.
To further her education and career, Linda became a Certified Professional
Coach and trained Divorce Mediator. In her private practice she assists men and
women in transitions, before, during and after divorce. Linda is a
"Fellow" the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois
(www.collablawil.org) and presently serves on the Board of Directors for that
organization.
Linda is also a member of the Illinois Counseling Association, the American
Counseling Association and Engaging Speakers Network.
Linda was divorced after a twenty-three year marriage. She is the mother of two
adult children. Although her professional credentials speak of her expertise in
education, counseling and coaching, her personal experience with divorce is
what helps her to connect with her clients.
